Scattered storms are making their way across mainly southwest Oklahoma this morning, but they're expected to diminish into the afternoon, leaving us with mostly to partly cloudy skies. The humidity will stick around for our Tuesday, and highs will likely continue to be slightly below average in the mid 90s with 10-20 mph winds. Lows overnight will then be in the mid 70s with a few clouds and light winds.
Extreme heat will be returning for the rest of our week, so get ready to sweat it out yet again. High temperatures Wednesday through the weekend look to be well into the low 100s, with the mugginess making it feel like it's around 105-110 across Texoma. We'll also see mostly sunny skies throughout this hot stretch, along with breezy south winds at 10-25 mph. In other words, our focus for the next week will once again be about staying hydrated and utilizing that sunscreen!
Enjoy the last not-so-hot day for awhile!
